Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit was created by virtue of Royal Decree 100/2020 issued on August 18, 2020. The unit reports to the Council of Ministers and follows up on the work carried out by public and semi-government entities, and observe the roles of different sectors related to the vision’s programs, according to their respective capacities and mandates. The unit also provides necessary support and proposes appropriate solutions to existing challenges, while ensuring integration of efforts of all stakeholders in order to achieve Oman Vision 2040.

Following up the achievement of the targets, results and indicators of Oman Vision 2040

Creating a motivating environment to achieve Oman Vision 2040

Following up policies related to easing procedures and facilitating services

Supporting the implementing entities and promoting effective partnership with all entities

Developing the procedures that ensure providing the best services to the customers of the service-based government entities

Promoting cooperation between government entities and the private sector to ensure the implementation of the vision’s plans and projects

Enhancing cooperation with government entities and enabling them to develop the quality of their services as per the adopted principles, in addition to achieving excellence and adopting the culture of innovation and the best practices in total quality management

Follow-up of the services provided to the public to ensure their quality according to the approved standards
